What No One Tells You When You Lose A Loved One

Interviewing is going to be a big part of my senior thesis so I thought it would be beneficial to take a look at some of the videos already circling the internet surrounding the loss of a loved one.

In this video Liz Zorn identifies some of the initial hurdles she faced after the loss of her father. She talks about feeling stuck, coping with humor, and the reality of her own morality. She continues on with her list of things people don't tell you when you lose a loved one with the hope that her vulnerability will bring hope and awareness.

This is my weeks field highlights. This weeks tasks were a test at how well we would be able to maintain our attitudes while out on the streets talking to people about the local charity (D.C. Strings ) we represent. I think this was by far one of the hardest things I had to do. I found it extremely uncomfortable trying to stop people to talk. Everyone seemed too busy to stop and in a hurry. I started the week trying to be positive but failing to maintain the best outlook. I ended the week in a much better place and even enjoyed the conversation we shared with a few people we stopped.
