On Shelley's wonderful site can be found 100 art therapy exercises that will have you exploring various emotions. There are free online art journaling courses that promote emotional healing and writing prompts targeted toward healing. Her objective reads, "Are you dancing around your emotional pain, trying not to touch it, feel it, or see it? I invite you to dedicate yourself to your emotional healing process for a short, concentrated span of time, in a way that is encouraging and enlightening."

PROGRESS!!

  My first piece! 😄    REFLECTION: I am super excited! I was stuck in my head trying to figure out what to do. I have been in such a space of not creating anything for so long that trying to get back in my creative space has been hard. I don't know if it has been due to lack of inspiration or just genuinely being tired that has been the hold up but lets hope I can keep up the momentum!

Blog Post 4

    We nailed down a rough draft idea for our poster design for our DC GIVES BACK  events. We have two events for this campaign-Auction house, and parade. I am responsible for making revisions to our designs and visuals. Today was also a in  house strategy day we reached out to business for sponsorships, inquired about doing their ads, and looked into potential venues to house our events.
